The Madonna and Child is a theme that has been popular since the creation of the concept of art. Parents want to remember when their children were small and cute. Children have another idea generally than to sit quietly for a photo shoot. You can generally count on about 30 minutes of novelty before the crying begins! Sometimes, those are the moments where you can capture something between the parents and the child that is special.

She wanted to stay away from the "sweet ballerina" that she sees every day, and asked for a little edge to her pictures. I noticed from here examples that she enjoyed dramatic lighting....
